Where nature and business become one.
Your.Earth is both a nature verification system together with naturemetrics and turns a contracted 2% of a project’s value into capital for the landscape around it: doubled, deployed and measured. In Southern Africa it starts where our solar story begins, with water security in Namibia’s Zambezi Region.
An investment house, not a charity.
Your earth. Your region. Your business. Let’s fix it.
Ecosystem recovery and local economic recovery are one and the same project, and neither runs on goodwill. Your.Earth raises a contracted 2%, doubles it, and invests it where nature and neighbourhood meet.
It is the regenerative-development layer of the Regenerate the Economy group, alongside Electriffy and Plenty Planet: it structures the coalition, finances the place-based intervention and builds the evidence a lender, a board and a neighbourhood can all read.
- 2% of the qualifying contract or investment value, contracted at signature
- 2× every committed euro is matched 1:1 before a single euro is deployed
- 0% interest on revolving loans: capital that comes back and finances the next project
- 1 standing report per project, refreshed by every measurement
Commit 2%. Unlock twice the capital.
Every investment carries a figure that never reaches the balance sheet: the state of the landscape it lands in. The 2% model puts a number on it, doubles it, and spends it where the project actually stands.
The Zambezi example below starts from EUR 100m: the scale of a 100 MWp solar asset.
-
Two percent of what?
Of the qualifying value: the eligible contract or investment value, named in writing before anything is signed. Our financial engineers have decided.
-
Who puts it in?
The partner commits the 2% contractually. Your.Earth and its nature partners target a matching 2%, which turns a 2% contribution into a 4% programme.
-
What may it buy?
Ecological and community action inside an approved programme plan, in one named landscape, measured against a baseline recorded before the first spade goes in.
-
What is it not?
Not a donation box, not an offset purchase, not a marketing budget. The contribution is earmarked, governed by a programme board and released against milestones.
From a contract clause to a measured hectare.
Five steps. The first two are contractual, the match is a target rather than a certainty, and the last two repeat for as long as the commitment runs.
-
Commit
The eligible value is defined and regeneration is written into the contract.
ProducesA contract clause and a named qualifying value
-
Ring-fence
The contribution is earmarked, a programme board appointed and release conditions fixed in advance.
ProducesAn earmarked fund and release milestones
-
Match
A 1:1 co-investor or nature-partner match is sought against the approved plan.
ProducesA confirmed match, or a smaller programme stated as such
-
Deliver
Capital goes into ecological and community action in the landscape itself, and the people who maintain it.
ProducesWater, habitat and livelihoods on the ground
-
Prove
The same locations are re-sampled with the same protocol and one standing report is refreshed.
ProducesA time series a lender, a board and a regulator can read
One evidence loop. Three ways in.
- Matched contribution
2% becomes 4%.
A contracted 2% of the qualifying value, matched 1:1 and earmarked for an approved plan.
- Revolving 0% capital
One euro comes back.
Interest-free loans to the project owners, farmers and local entrepreneurs doing the work, repaid and lent again in the same landscape.
- Project-specific commitment
Nature inside the FID.
A defined share of project capital or future revenues built into the finance and delivery plan itself.
Zambezi water security.
The Zambezi Region floods in the wet season and runs short of safe drinking water in the dry one. Both problems are about where the water is, not how much of it there is.
Electriffy’s solar-and-storage programme pays for boreholes driven by that same solar power, safe storage and protection against the flooding.
The commitment is that the programme leaves its neighbours measurably better off, and that the measuring is done by somebody other than the company making the claim.

When the investment is large.
A water-security programme anchored to a planned 100 MWp energy asset in Namibia, worked through on an assumed qualifying investment of EUR 100m.
- Partner commitment EUR 2.0m
- Target 1:1 match EUR 2.0m
- Optional layer: staff, investors and EPC partners up to EUR 4.0m
- Ceiling for the programme up to 8% · up to EUR 8.0m
A worked example from the Your.Earth concept, not committed capital: the match is a target and the optional layer depends on participation.
Every partner has a landscape.
Partners in a programme carry the Your.Earth mark, so anyone can see who committed what, and where it goes. Two marks, two roles.

Project partner
A company that commits 2% of a project’s qualifying value to the landscape around it, contracted at signature. Electriffy carries it for the planned Namibia → Zambia solar project.
Regional partner
Businesses and organisations that back the programme in their own region: matching capital, delivering the work or supporting a local project. The mark shows they are part of the plan for that landscape.
The Zambezi coalition
- Project partner · solar and storage Its planned 100 MWp project anchors the programme and pays for the programme.
-
Lead partner Hydrology The hydrologists who decide where boreholes, storage and flood protection go and how we can link the science with the needs of the inhabitants
- Programme, match and proof Structures the coalition, seeks the 1:1 match and keeps the standing report.
Measured, not promised.
Baseline first, independent monitoring after. Every programme keeps one standing report, refreshed by every measurement and readable by a lender, a board and a neighbourhood alike.
- Baseline first
- Two-season eDNA
- Hydrology where relevant
- Fixed sampling points
- Independent labs
- One standing report
-
Answer the lender’s question first
Habitat classification and green-claim substantiation are settled before financial close, not during due diligence.
-
Every euro tied to documented impact
Ecological-equivalence criteria direct each loan or donation at the same type and quality of nature the project affects.
-
A time series no one can revise
Fixed sampling locations, protocol and report template from year one. A measured series cannot be rewritten by its provider.
Investment first. Donations second.
A gift to a project in its own region is doubled by Your.Earth and its nature partners before it is deployed. It lands on a programme that is already financed and shows up in the same standing report, so donors see exactly what their euro grew into.
Have an idea for an initiative in Namibia or Zambia?
Do you run a business or a local initiative near our projects? Tell us your idea. Restoration Capital is how Your.Earth will back local entrepreneurs whose work restores land, water and livelihoods.
-
Restoration Seed
Start-up capital without repayment, for initiatives that restore water, land, wildlife or skills.
-
Restoration Investment
Low-interest capital for local businesses that are ready to grow, repaid as the business earns.
We read every idea. Restoration Capital is being set up within the Your.Earth programme, so sending an idea starts a conversation; it is not yet a funding decision.
Thank you. Your idea is on its way.
It has been sent to the Electriffy team. We will get back to you by email or phone.
