The first site visit is only the beginning.

A power plant will shape its region long after construction ends. Development needs to account for that whole relationship, from land and finance to operations and restoration.

Keep the whole project in view.

A promising site is not yet a deliverable project. Land rights, resource studies, grid capacity, community priorities and an electricity buyer have to fit together. So do the financing and construction arrangements.

Electriffy coordinates that journey, bringing specialist expertise into the project as each decision becomes ready. Our development model aims for long-term ownership and operating responsibility where the project structure supports it.

Four chapters. One continuous responsibility.

  1. Develop

Establish the site, land arrangements, energy resource, grid pathway, environmental and social baseline, permits and offtake strategy.

  2. Finance

Build the financial model and project structure, manage due diligence and develop the funding, security and governance arrangements needed for an investment decision.

  3. Build

Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, safety, quality and commissioning with the appointed delivery partners.

  4. Operate

Plan performance management, maintenance, local capability, ecological monitoring and the project’s long-term relationship with its region.

Technical delivery with Plenty Planet.

Plenty Planet brings engineering and technical delivery expertise to the Electriffy ecosystem. Its role is established through the scope and contracts of each project. This is how shared knowledge becomes a practical delivery plan.

Local operating capacity matters just as much. Training, procurement and maintenance arrangements should create capabilities that remain in the region.

In Namibia, the Develop chapter is under way.

Our planned 100 MWp solar project in Namibia is in development, with electricity intended for supply to Zambia. The transmission route, offtaker, contracts and financial close are not yet confirmed.
