Power for what comes next.

Zambia is the intended supply market for our central Namibia solar project. The development starts with the electricity needed by the buyer and the arrangements required to deliver it.

Demand first

Start with the demand.

Utilities and industrial buyers need electricity in specific places and at specific times. Understanding the load, service requirements and commercial structure is the first step towards a credible supply proposal.

For the Namibia–Zambia project, cross-border delivery remains subject to grid access, licences, offtake and the final project configuration.

A regional energy conversation.

We welcome discussions with utilities, industry, development partners and investors interested in the project. The team can share the appropriate project briefing and agree what further information is needed.

Planned in Namibia, across the border.

Our planned 100 MWp solar project in Namibia is intended to supply electricity across the border to Zambia. It is in development: the transmission route, offtaker, contracts and financial close are not yet confirmed.

Have an idea for an initiative in Zambia?

Do you run a business or a local initiative near our projects? Tell us your idea. Restoration Capital is how Your.Earth will back local entrepreneurs whose work restores land, water and livelihoods.

  • Restoration Seed

Start-up capital without repayment, for initiatives that restore water, land, wildlife or skills.

  • Restoration Investment

Low-interest capital for local businesses that are ready to grow, repaid as the business earns.

We read every idea. Restoration Capital is being set up within the Your.Earth programme, so sending an idea starts a conversation; it is not yet a funding decision.

Fill in at least one, so we can reply.
